The current humanitarian crisis is the key issue confronting our world – and one which demands a response from all corners of society. We have drawn on our academic expertise to develop a mobile application called "I am Human".

"I am Human" is an app that will helps refugees to record and tell their stories, the choices they have to make and their journeys to safety. Using the app, refugees can take photos, record audio and video, and write text. All of which are stored safely and securely. The app also informs the project team where a refugee is so that they maybe contacted in an emergency. The "I am Human" app has been developed as part of a research project that will show the world why we need to care for and support refugees.
